I was looking for something for my camera that was solid but not overly expensive. I considered the holders from best buy but was not thrilled at the cost. This seemed to have solid reviews on it and figured why not.
Having it mounted on my camelback the locking system was as solid as can be. As long as the baseplate was tightened down camera was not going anywhere.
The only complaint I have is that the lockswitch isn't entirely solid. But unless you press down on that locksmith it is not going to let go.
