I live in Washington in the Pacific Northwest. The backpack is coated with water-resistance to shed light rain; but, completely rainproof with the cover on.

Loaded with a variety of different sized pockets and sleeves for different equipment. There are pockets on the belt clip for quick access while on a trail.

Completely adjustable for comfort. The straps shoulder straps are adjustable, there are drawstring cords to tighten the backpack, and the belt and chest straps can be adjusted as well.

Comes with many loops and belts for light attachments. For a sleeping bag or insulated mats I'd go with their larger backpacks. Overall, this backpack is great for extended one-day camping trips.

When you get this backpack, you'll have to break it in. It comes folded, so put all your gear in and wear it around so it re-shapes again and stands on it's own. Otherwise, I can't think of any cons to this pack.
