This lock was relatively easy to install and included the wi-fi module. Locking and unlocking our door is now easier than it was with a traditional bolt. We are now able to either lock or confirm that it's locked at night when we go to bed. That is a really secure feeling. However, I have the "Notify When Offline" option enabled. It reports (via push notification) that the wi-fi unit disconnects about 10+ times a day. This is not only concerning but annoying. I do not know in what scenario this would be by design but many times we've not been able to reach the lock with the mobile app. I've had no luck contacting anyone at Yale about this: they are hidden behind a vail of "support" chatbots. This is quite concerning for a product of this price. We bought this first one in hopes of finding a candidate lock for all of our exterior doors. With this wi-fi problem, we aren't sure Yale is the right choice for safely securing our home.
