I bought this on a whim because I needed a new candle lighter, the price was good so I thought I'd give it a try. I really like it. Works as promised to light candles, haven't tried to use it on anything else because that's not what it's for. Didn't come with much battery right out the box so the first time I used it, I was worried about battery life but it charged up pretty fast with the USB charger and I've used it several times now and haven't had to charge it again. Easy to use, just press a button down but also has a slide to turn it off and on between use so it won't just randomly runs on in a drawer. Also, I have a 10 year old boy and I like the idea of having this in the house rather than a lighter. I'm sure he could find a way to burn something down if he tried but it would take a while. Would be a good add-on if you bought someone the typical candle gift and maybe it would seem like you did put at least SOME effort in 😉
