The product fits nicely in the nightstand and works to hold cords in place. In the product picture it looks like the cord’s magnetically stick to the block but there are 2 rubber attachments for the end of the cord that are what actually attaches. Those slip down as you use the cord so you just have to move it back to the end when placing back on the block. The iPhone cord round end sticks on its own without the attachment.
