If you run and you use a headlamp, you should buy this Petzyl light.
The body is about the size of a 9v battery and easy to stash in a pocket once the sun comes up on those long runs.
The beam is wide to where it covers my prehiphiril vision and a little stronger in the center.
I just need the low settings to see obstacles on the trail without totally destroying my night vision.
