I bought this gym bag to use for a daily workout at the on-base gym across the street from my office. I can easily fit a change of workout clothes, running shoes, towel, and toiletries in the bag, and appreciate the various compartments that allow storage of watch, wallet, phone, keys, etc., that I can store in the locker at the gym. Breakout of likes and dislikes follow.
Likes:
- Compartmentalized pockets to include enclosed shoe "sock" end storage pocket
- Multiple carrying capability (hand carry, sling carry, or backpack style carry)
- additional "Small" bag that can store toiletries and towel for post workout shower
Dislikes:
- Questionable durability in the construction of the bag. Zipper grips, Carrying sling/strap clips, and carrying handle material are soft (zippers, straps), brittle (plastic anchor clips) and have an almost "stretchy" feel to them. I have used the bag daily for three weeks now and I have had two of the five zipper grips come off. I am hoping the bag holds up, because I like the layout and the compact yet ample storage space...just wish it were of better quality construction (if the company reads this I recommend they acquire a US Military helmet flight bag the military issues to aviation troops and see how you can use the same materials and make it more durable.)
Overall I'm hovering at a low "4" star rating but if anything else breaks in the next couple of months this would go straight to a "3".
