The Samsung Frame TV works like a good -- but definitely overpriced -- TV. Like most buyers, we chose this for the art feature to upload high quality photos so it looks nice on our wall instead of a blank black screen or a cheesy bright photo montage. You are encouraged to choose one of several paid monthly subscriptions, giving you access to lots of art. No, thank you.
Warning: uploading your own photos or art is difficult. It took 5 or 6 hours of time to figure it out (I gave up a few times and came back to it every few months with renewed energy and a positive outlook). Based on all the online searching I did to troubleshoot this, many other customers find it just as difficult. Wow, this was among the least friendly technology user experiences I have ever had. However once your art is up there on the TV screen, it looks great! Like real art, not like a bright TV screen displaying art.
