Decided to clean dishwasher after 7 years of NOT cleaning. heavy lime buildup, and the filters? They really DO need cleaning. Both clogged, to the max. not pretty. followed instructions for both filters, and put everything back together. Ran a cycle w/o dishes, looked much better, but still lots a scale and a overall orange tinge to everything. put in two tablets on a long cycle as recommended. Cleaner. Two more tablets, cleaner still, but.... so two more tablets, BINGO. Clean as a whistle! six tablets over six years is what's recommended for our level of use.
Easier on the sprayers and pretty sure it is easier on the pump, which is the part you don't want to wear out. No taste or odor from the tablets and all the cleaning. Good deal!
