Where I live, the power can go out for days or even weeks at a time. So when I need emergency lighting, I can depend on Luci. I just put them in the southeast windows and they’re ready when the power goes out. I actually tried buying another brand a few years ago, which were more expensive. In the last power outage, the off other brand lights were out within a few hours, while the Luci Lights kept on going. The last long outage lasted 2 days and one of the Luci Lights was still going without recharging. I just bought 2 new Luci Lights (as per this review ) & am ecstatic that I can now charge them through USB charge as well as in a sunny window. Good thing as I am running out of windows. Luci Lights has been giving us dependable lighting now for over 20 years.
