    Beautiful tv, great for hiding wires
    We have loved the way this TV lets us hide wires on our brick fireplace - there is no power or access so for the longest time, we had extension chords that could not be well hidden.We haven’t added a frame and may do so in the future, but just the tv is so nice, low profile, beautiful picture, and discrete chord.Side note: soundbars are tricky. We want to have it below the tv, but because it requires its own power and hdmi connection, haven’t found a way to do that without adding back cables.

Brand new on prime day for $2700 USD all in. I got deluxe delivery with unpacking in the chosen room. It's a beast and no good place to hold it so two guys is a must for unpacking and wall mounting. I am not a hardcore videophile or audiophile. This was a HUGE upgrade for us. The sound is fine. The picture is great. The remote is fine. The Samsung UI is fine (not as good as Roku by a long shot). We got this TV for the matte display in a very sunny room. No one is going to believe we have an 85" art piece 38in above the ground in the center of our room...the art is beautiful though. Even my kids like it. The remote took 1 day to get used to. The UI took 1 day to get used to. Watch the wall mount instructions and read all you can on tips and tricks for a smooth install. The instructions are not great so you have to figure out a lot yourself. I'm so excited to be able to sit anywhere in the room on a sunny day and watch football or basketball. Unless you buy a new best of the best TV every year, the TV functions of this will probably be fine for you. That said, I'm glad I got it new but still at a good price. It's a lot of money to justify for a TV. Also, Samsung needs to get it together with drywall mounting hardware and some better instructions. Lots of pictures...not a lot of explanations. The UI also needs an easier way to move apps and remove apps from the home screen.

    We wanted a tv that would blend in with our living room and the frame tv fits perfectly. We love the art that can be displayed when not watching tv; if you squint just a bit, it really seems like you’re looking at a framed print, not a tv. The set comes with its own mount and our adult son had no problems in setting it up. To complete the sense of a picture frame, he cut a hole in the drywall behind the tv and one behind the piece of furniture on which her placed the box that connects with the tv. So no cables are visible between the frame and the box ( all cables including the HDMI and sound bar cable go into the box instead of the tv)
    Picture quality is good and the Samsung remote works well. At $400 off list price through Prime Days, we’re thrilled with this set.

    Update: After about one month, our frame television has stopped working--it repeatedly shuts off or goes into a continuing on-screen loop. Samsung uses a third party to deal with repairs, but after I talked to a rep there and sent a requested photo of my unit, I received an email saying they had to escalate the issue back to Samsung and it might be up to 10 days before I hear from them. It's 5 days now and no word from Samsung. Given we're only had the unit for 4 weeks, I'll expect Samsung to exchange it for a new unit or offer a full refund. I'll update this post when the issue is resolved.

    Hi - loved what I'd seen of the Frame options before this, and so signed up imediately for the pre-release when I learned about the anti-glare option coming in 2022. I love the bezel (very narrow), the anti-glare LOOKS like it should work great (we have a lot of huge windows in our room, so that was key). it's very thin, seems well made, great custom frame finishes, was well packaged, came fairly quickly, and wasn't too pricey. So - what's not to like ? Well, the whole idea behind paying the extra coin for this model is so that it'll look clean (like a picture on the wall) - yes ? Unfortunately, whoever designed the OneConnect module clearly never used the set. You CANNOT put it inside the wall, either behind or below the panel (it has needed connection ports on 2 perpendicular faces of the box - WHO is the i-dot who thought that could work ? It only comes with a short connection cable even if you DO decide to mount it externally outside the wall (and then it looks dopey since it is ungainly, and VERY poorly thought out needing cables to exit ifrom two perpendicular sides - insane). Want a longer connect cable ? No problem - just pay a ton more for an aftermarket version :-( We hired the top professional in Denver to attempt to dress it all up and make it work. He came over, listened to what we wanted thinking it'd be no problem...looked at what was here...thought and played around for a while...then promptly refunded all of our $ (even the trip charge) telling us that - in his opinion - no matter what he could think of, it was never going to look "clean" :-( Another trifling item - WHO is the clown who thought that a storm-trooper white remote control was a good design idea (for something which folks routinely need to pickup and manipulate with their hands) ? Just a gross, fingerprint-showing nightmare to constantly be cleaning, and yet another example of this product NOT having been tested even a little by folks who actually USED it :-o Add in the fact that you can see the electrostatic emitter behind the screen due to the charge massively grabbing dust out of the air around the set (despite having 2 brand new air filters which we installed to scrub the air in an effort to eliminate that issue), as well as the problems referenced in other reviews with displaying your own pics and Samsung trying to make extra bucks selling you online art; and you have just a recipe for a very vexing, disappointing product :-( We WANTED so badly to really like this - it just seems strongly like it wasnt' really ever tested by anyone who actually USED the product for more than an hour or two or in their own home. Overall, I'd have to say - it isn't the WORST...but wait another generation or two until Samsung (who is normally awesome) to actually issue a product with the kinks worked out that is ready for consumer use. As it is - it's WAY better in a store setting than anything you'll actually put onto your wall at home. Just my thoughts - but I did waste a ton of effort and time trying to make it work :-o

    Not thrilled about all the strange features such as auto adjusting brightness and volume based on assessing the environment… I don’t need my tv to think itself or assess my living room. Wish all the smart stuff would go but it’s here to stay, I know I know. Still, I dont like it.
