Starting with the communication with the manager, then the location itself, which is fantastic, the room is clean, nicely furnished, everything is as described. The breakfast is good. Everything you need is on the menu, whether you like cereals, sweet or savoury breakfast, fruit salad, juices, cakes... The woman who serves breakfast is very friendly and takes great care to ensure everything is in order. The manager Sonia is very helpful to make your stay in Funchal perfect. We can only say the best for the manager Sonia and Sao Francisco accomodation.

The elegant dining room has a wide terrace on the outside with a window view from the inside. The restaurant’s specialties include tuna, octopus and other seafood delicacies. An Buffet breakfast is included and can be enjoyed overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Great place with a amazing view on the ocean. Nice swimming pool. Hotel is small, all rooms had a view of the sea and swimingpool and balcony. Breakfast was very good and also hotel restaurant offers very good dinner . Parking is available . Staff was very nice and friendly .

This part of Madeira is much more greener than anywhere else. The host is very helpful and friendly!! Helped us to rent a car for a good price and offered us pick up/drop off from airport with reasonable price.

Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
