CDC and PAC Launch U=U Resource Guide at AIDS2024

Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U) is an essential strategy for HIV prevention and a community-led global health campaign. This campaign seeks to increase awareness that a person living with HIV who is on treatment and maintains an undetectable viral load has zero risk of transmitting HIV to their sexual partners.

In partnership with the Prevention Access Campaign, CDC launched a new resource guide, “Implementing and Scaling up Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U),” for Zero HIV Stigma Day on July 21, 2024. The guide can help partners understand U=U, implement activities, and communicate U=U’s lifesaving message.

The Lifesaving Message of U=U

Partners from CDC, HIV.gov, and Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS discuss the significant global impact of U=U and its importance for people living with HIV.
