BEACHWOOD, Ohio - Rosso Italia is scheduled to open its doors on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
The space is adjacent to Blu, the Restaurant, also owned by Brad Friedlander. The restaurateur said in a release "opening an authentic Italian restaurant has always been a dream for me.”
Rosso Italia will feature steak, seafood, chicken and pasta, but also charcuterie and "innovative" salads along with a regular prix-fixe menu option.
Ingredients will be locally sourced when available, and all menu items including breads and pastries will be house-made.
Rosso Italia and Blu are at 3355 Richmond Road, Beachwood.
Blu and Rosso Italia are in the former locations for Moxie and Red, the Steakhouse, respectively. Friedlander does not own the Red downtown or the one in the Pinecrest development in Orange Village.
