The Premier League is back! Manchester United and Fulham kickstart the English top-flight's 2024-25 campaign at Old Trafford on Friday night, with both looking to become the first club to secure league points this season.

The Red Devils - who had a disappointing 2023-24 with the exception of an FA Cup trophy - will be desperate to start this season with a victory as they eye a return to the top four.

Fortunately for United fans, they are heavily favoured to come away with the win at home, with Erik ten Hag's side odds-on at 11/20.

Meanwhile, Fulham are 4/1 underdogs to cause an upset and a draw is priced at 10/3.

Although the Cottagers' overall record against United makes for poor reading, the most recent meeting between these two sides bodes well for the visitors.

Fulham defeated United 2-1 at Old Trafford in February of this year - with Alex Iwobi's goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time breaking the hearts of the more than 60,000 United fans in attendance.

Can Marco Silva's side pull off a similar upset on Friday? We will have to wait and see, but they are more than capable of doing so.
