The Repair Shop's Will Kirk scolded Jermaine Jenas during Tuesday's episode of The One Show, after he turned the furniture restorer's innocent response into a cheeky innuendo.

Jermaine, 40, and his co-host Alex Jones were joined on Tuesday by Will, 39, No Time To Die star Naomie Harris and Olympian Daley Thompson.

During a discussion about Will's top tips for restoring furniture, Jermaine asked him: 'What is the biggest mistake that people make when they're kind of restoring old furniture?'

After a bit of a think, Will replied: 'Going in too hard, too fast. Because, years ago...'

Will trailed off when he saw Jermaine's face and he gave Jermaine a warning finger, but he still let out a 'Whoa'.

The men both began laughing, and Will attempted to continue: 'Years ago...'

But, Daley, 65, also began to chuckle, prompting Will to tell Jermaine: 'Behave yourself, man!' Whilst gesturing to Daley.

This did the trick, as Will was finally able to finish: 'I was cleaning back a piece of furniture, and I started to sand it back thinking that this table was solid oak.'

He shook his head and a finger before continuing: 'No, no, no. It was veneered oak on the top and plywood underneath. And I went straight into the plywood.'

Alex, 47, gasped with empathy.

Earlier in the show, Naomie was joined by child actress Darcey Ewart to discuss their upcoming film Robin And The Hoods.

Game Of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie also stars in the gender-swapped spin on the English folklore classic.

Meanwhile, Daley promoted his BBC documentary Daley: Olympic Superstar, which is out now.

Daley won five gold medals for Team GB and three for England between 1978 and 1986 for the decathlon.

He was unbeaten in the sport for nine years and he broke the decathlon world record four times.

With wins in the Olympics, the World Championships, the Commonwealth Games, and the European Championships, Daley is considered the greatest British decathlete.

Daley's son, Elliot Thompson, became the national decathlon champion at the 2022 British Athletics Championships.
