Teen Mom: The Next Chapter: Briana DeJesus reunites nervously with mother Roxanne who checked into rehab for substance abuse issues

Briana DeJesus was nervous about her mother Roxanne coming home from a stint in rehab on Thursday's episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter on MTV.

'My understanding is she suffered bad being on heroin. Bad. Teenager, like Nova's age, on heroin,' Briana, 30, said. 'Who knows she may want to get back on opioids. I don't know.'

The season two episode titled Pursue You opened with Briana saying she felt clueless over how to handle Roxanne's return.

Briana said in a confessional that she set up boundaries with her mother by keeping the kids away from her, but wondered if that was still the right thing to do.

In West Virginia, Leah Messer, 32, took her daughter Aliannah to her physical therapy appointment. Leah shared in a confessional that a few months after Aliannah was born that she was diagnosed with a rare form of muscular dystrophy.

'Now, like every teenager, she wants to fit in so she fights me about using her wheelchair and instead she relies a lot on me and my sister,' Leah said.

Leah had lunch with her sister Victoria and talked about how her daughter didn't want to use the wheelchair. Victoria said her stubbornness and independence was inspirational but she needed to accept her limitations due to the disease.

Cheyenne Floyd, 30, shared that her ex-Cory Wharton, 33, was going to do The Challenge show and worried how their daughter Ryder would react being away from him for a long time.

Meanwhile, Cory in Seattle talked to his girlfriend Taylor Selfridge about having Cheyenne come up to Seattle with his other daughters when he was gone. He asked Taylor if she was going to be okay and she said it was awkward because people kept asking her where her husband was.

'Sometimes I feel embarrassed to be with the kids places and they're like ''Where's your husband?''.' Taylor said. 'Hmm I don't have a husband.'

'You could just tell you do,' Cory said. 'We have two kids and a brand new house together.'

'You can't just call me your wife,' Taylor said. 'You haven't made me a wife.'

'Just because you don't have the ring yet doesn't mean you're not my wife,' Cory said.

The next day, Taylor took Cory to the airport and drove away crying.

At Jade Cline's house in Indiana, she was hoping her mother Christy would only get house arrest for a probation violation over her marijuana charge. She later learned the court didn't approve her house arrest and sentenced her to jail for 62 days.

'This whole situation is a mess,' Jade, 27, said.

She worried about what she would tell Kloie.

Cheyenne told her husband Zach Davis that Ryder was excited about the Seattle trip. She called Taylor to see how she was doing and if they could make Seattle happen.

'Mila misses her big sister, too, so I think it's a good idea,' Taylor said.

Cory called Cheyenne and Ryder said she wanted a pink Gucci bag if he won The Challenge.

Leah said she wanted to encourage her family to not enable her daughter so much and let her learn how to be more independent.

Brianna told her daughter Nova that their grandmother was going to come back from the airport. Devoin, Nova's dad, came over to watch the kids.

'Sometimes I feel embarrassed to be with the kids places and they're like ''Where's your husband?''.' Taylor Selfridge said. 'Hmm I don't have a husband'

'Just because you don't have the ring yet doesn't mean you're not my wife,' Cory said

The next day, Taylor took Cory to the airport and drove away crying

'I know her just coming home, she's not going to be a brand new different person,' Brianna said. 'So we'll just see what happens. But I think everything will be okay.'

Her mother Roxanne got into her car and said that her children wanted to see her.

'What's your plan now?' Brianna said. 'And you're 100 percent off of methadone?'

'Yeah, totally,' Roxanne said. 'That's what I went in there to do. I did it. It was hard.'

Cheyenne flew to Seattle with her kids and checked into her AirBnb. Taylor came over and Ryder and Ace were excited to see Mila and Maya and hugged them. Cheyenne asked Taylor how she was doing after Cory said on MTV that everyone kept asking him when he was getting married.

'Why wouldn't you want a healthy marriage for your kids so they can see a healthy marriage?' Taylor said.

'I told him us sharing a child together I'm going to have to deal with you for a long time,' Cheyenne said. 'I need you to be the best version of yourself for Ryder and to show her what men are supposed to do.'

'He doesn't treat me bad,' Taylor said. 'He treats me really good.'

'He definitely really loves you and is really comfortable,' Cheyenne said. 'And I want you to make him uncomfortable sometimes.'

'What's your plan now?' Brianna said. 'And you're 100 percent off of methadone?'

'I used to cry and now I'm mad,' Taylor said. 'I'm not going to waste my years on you.'

'I feel for Taylor,' Cheyenne said in a confessional.

Brianna told her mother she needed to figure out a plan so she wouldn't be alone all the time. Roxanne said she was on mood stabilizers and just couldn't bury her PTSD anymore.

'I wasn't protected,' Roxanne said. 'I didn't want that for my kids. I didn't want that cycle to repeat.'

Roxanne said she hoped she was on her path to recovery.

'Thank you for being a good daughter,' Roxanne said.

Jade let her father Corey move in with her after her mother went to jail. Later that day her mother Christy called her from jail. She said it was a hard pill when she was clean for 15 months for things she did in her past.

'Let me tell you I'm too old for this,' Christy said. 'It's horrible. I'm just trying to make the best of the situation I have.'

Jade didn't want to tell her daughter that her grandmother was in jail.

Leah's daughter Aliannah called her mother on a walkie-talkie and asked her to bring her water. Leah asked her if she was excited about starting high school.

'I'm going to step back and let you be more independent,' Leah said. 'But over the years, we've clouded you from the reality of your muscle disease, too.'

'I know where I can walk and where I can't walk,' Aliannah said.

'You know your body better than anyone else,' Leah said. 

Cheyenne and Taylor took their kids around Seattle. Cory called to check in on them.

'Daddy loves you,' Cory said.

Cheyenne said she learned in co-parenting with Cory to put the kids first.

'I'm going to step back and let you be more independent,' Leah said. 'But over the years, we've clouded you from the reality of your muscle disease, too'

'I know my mom is strong, my mom is resilient so I know no matter what happens, I want to say that my mom will be Ok,' Briana said in a confessional
