Kesha gets new gig as guest star on Nashville... after judge ruled she must continue working at Sony with producer she alleges drugged and raped her
A New York State Supreme Court judge refused to release her from a Sony contract just weeks ago, which means she must continue to work for the same company as her alleged rapist.
But just because her musical career is on hold doesn't mean Kesha can't show off one of her many other talents.
The 29-year-old singer will be appearing as herself for a guest star spot on season four of ABC's Nashville according to a Friday report from E! News.

The news comes shortly after a report which claimed that Sony is set to drop Dr Luke, 42, from Sony amid outrage over the sexual assault claims by Kesha against him.
However as of Friday, the producer has still not been dropped officially which led to several of her fans gathering outside of Sony's Manhattan headquarters to deliver petitions with over 411K signatures demanding that the label release Kesha from her contract and drop Dr Luke according to a Billboard report.

Ariana Grande was the latest artist to send support Kesha's way as she talked about her battle during an interview on 97.1 Amp Radio's Daily Download.
The 22-year-old singer said: 'I love Kesha. I worked with her when I was a lot younger. We’ve been friends, I support her, regardless of what’s going on.
The incredible double standards that we [women] face on a daily basis, in the industry and just in the world, it’s shocking. I would be so amused, and pardon me if this comes across as sexist, but I don’t think a male artist would be in this position right now. Sorry.
'If I’m speaking out about something I’m passionate about, I’m willing to take the brunt for fighting for what I believe in, and my fellow women are definitely something that I will always be one of the first to speak up about.'
