Hwy 57 Mantorville ribbon cutting ceremony
The public is invited to a ceremonial ribbon cutting event Sept. 4 in Mantorville to celebrate the completion of the Hwy 57 reconstruction project. Brief speeches and a ribbon cutting will take place with community leaders.
Date: Wednesday, Sept. 4
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Location: Along the sidewalk area on the west side of Hwy 57, just south of the County Seat café
Summary of work
Reconstruction of Hwy 57 from the South Branch Middle Fork Zumbro bridge to 9th St. in Mantorville started April 15, 2024 and was completed in August.The project included the following improvements.
- Reconstructed roadway base
- Constructed new driving surface
- Replaced of stormwater pipes
- Upgraded pedestrian and bike facilities
