  • The Embassy of Switzerland in Caracas is closely following the situation in Venezuela and in Caracas in particular. Its development is currently uncertain. Tensions remain high.
  • We recommend that you regularly consult the FDFA's travel advice for Venezuela and obtain information locally and via the media.
  • Avoid demonstrations and large gatherings of people and be aware of your surroundings.
  • We encourage Swiss travellers to download the offical TravelAdmin app and register their trip to Venezuela there. This way, the FDFA can contact you if necessary.
