The early signing period begins Wednesday, Nov. 11 and runs through Nov. 18. Twenty members of the ESPN 100 remain uncommitted heading into Wednesday, in addition to high-level NBA prospect Thon Maker (who can't be ranked since he plays high school basketball outside the United States). Below, ESPN recruiting Insider Jeff Borzello and our team of scouts weigh in on where each of the 21 players is likely to sign, which teams are involved with every player at this stage, and whether we should expect a signature during the early period:
No. 3 Josh Jackson, 6-7, SF
Decision coming during the early signing period? No
Jeff Borzello prediction: Michigan State
ESPN Scouts' prediction: Arizona
Toughest competition: Maryland
Others in the mix: Kansas
Jackson will likely be one of the last 2016 prospects to make a decision. Michigan State has picked up momentum lately, but Arizona and Maryland have also made strong pushes. Kansas is one to watch.

Toughest competition: Indiana
Others in the mix: St. John's, Notre Dame
This is another one that likely won't end for a long time; Maker hasn't even taken any official visits. Arizona State has a strong relationship with Maker's guardian, Ed Smith, while Indiana has been involved for quite awhile.

Toughest competition: Arkansas
Others in the mix: Oregon, Kansas
Most signs pointed to Monk making a decision during the late period, but he's taken four official visits and could be closer to a decision than we think. This one will come down to in-state Arkansas vs. powerhouse Kentucky.
No. 6 Edrice "Bam" Adebayo, 6-8, PF

Toughest competition: Kentucky
Others in the mix: Auburn
NC State has long been considered the favorite for Adebayo, whose AAU teammate, Dennis Smith, committed to the Wolfpack earlier this fall. However, Kentucky has made Adebayo one of its frontcourt priorities and has a shot.
No. 7 De'Aaron Fox, 6-3, PG

Toughest competition: Kansas
Others in the mix: Louisville, LSU
Kentucky made Fox a priority in the summer, and the Wildcats quickly took the lead in his recruitment. Fox has said he will make a decision during the early period, so Kentucky could have its future point guard very soon.

The former Arizona commit opened things back up in August, and quickly moved through the second phase of his recruitment. UCLA emerged as the favorite back in August, and the Bruins have done a good job with Leaf's AAU program.

Others in the mix: Kentucky, North Carolina
Alkins still has several schools on his list, so it doesn't appear his recruitment will come to an end anytime soon. St. John's was his former local school, NC State is his current local school, while UNC has also had him on campus.

Others in the mix: Kentucky
Simmons finished his visits in September, and most people expected him to make a decision soon thereafter. Recently, his father said Simmons will wait until the spring. Ohio State is the favorite right now; will a new school get involved?
No. 19 Jarrett Allen, 6-10, C

Toughest competition: Kentucky, Kansas
Others in the mix: Notre Dame
This one is difficult to read. Allen is a quiet kid, and still has a host of schools on his list. Texas and Houston are the local schools, while Notre Dame, Kansas and Kentucky have also had him on campus recently. He could wait.
No. 20 Marques Bolden, 6-10, C

Toughest competition: Alabama
Others in the mix: Duke, Oklahoma, Kentucky
Bolden is another player who looked likely to make an early decision, but he is still strongly considering Alabama and hasn't yet taken a visit. Kansas regained momentum in October, and the Jayhawks seem to be in a good spot.

Toughest competition: Florida State
Others in the mix: South Carolina
This one will be an in-state battle between Florida State and Miami. He's from Miami, but Florida State has done an excellent job with him over the past year. The Hurricanes likely lead.

Azubuike doesn't speak much publicly about his recruitment, but signs have pointed to him making an early decision, as he's already been on several campuses. Florida State and Kansas appear to be the two frontrunners.

ESPN Scouts' prediction: Indiana or UMass (no consensus)
Others in the mix: Purdue, Miami
Brown has had an interesting recruitment, but it's picked up lately and could wind down quickly. Indiana made him a priority early, while UMass has the local angle. Xavier and Miami have already had him on campus, and Purdue visited him.
No. 32 Mario Kegler, 6-8, SF

Toughest competition: Indiana
Others in the mix: Arizona State, LSU, Baylor, Maryland
Kegler was expected to trim his list recently, but still has five or six schools in pursuit. Mississippi State has emerged as the leader, but the sleeper in this one could be LSU. He's been on campus, but never took an official visit.

Jones was busy with visits in August, but has really slowed things down since then. He's been on Arizona's campus multiple times, as well as Louisville and Texas. Baylor is in the mix, and Kansas recently offered Jones.

Davis is down to two schools: Indiana and MIssissippi State. He's visited both programs, and the buzz has gone back and forth between the two. Indiana needs a big body up front, while Ben Howland has plenty of momentum as MSU.

Which Carolina will win out for the former YouTube sensation? Woods took official visits to both schools, then took a pair of surprise unofficial visits, one to each school, in late October. Frank Martin has really made Woods a priority.

Ado still has a handful of schools on his list, but the two making the strongest push are Auburn and Mississippi State. He's officially visited both schools, and the SEC programs have also visited him at his high school recently.

One of the top point guards left on the board, Moore has been busy the past few weeks and could commit at any time. He hasn't visited Iowa State yet, though. VCU and California are the likely frontrunners in this one for now.

Thompson boosted his stock in the summer, and has had a fluctuating school list throughout the fall. New schools are entering the mix, including Kansas, which recently went to see him. He's been up to Syracuse, and the Orange are focused on him.
No. 90 Alpha Diallo, 6-7, SF

Diallo is another player who became a top-100 prospect after a strong summer, but VCU is hoping the fact it was involved before the "blow-up" plays a factor. Florida recently went to Brewster Academy to see Diallo, while others are also in the mix.
