News: 2 days agoPeterman was signed to the Falcons' practice squad Tuesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Spin: Peterman was released by the Raiders last Tuesday after spending the preseason as an extra depth option behind Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell at quarterback. Peterman played in two games with the Bears in 2023 and he'll likely operate as an emergency backup option in Atlanta with Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix on the active roster.
