"A relaxing guest house to rest in before starting with our travels in Namibia.

The terrace seating area was pleasant. The room was comfortable with tea and coffee provided.

We had a good meal but the service was very slow." See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia

"We only spent overnight here, but the rooms were spacious, well-appointed and comfortable for a good sleep after the flight. It was very handy to have evening food available here, as we certainly didn’t feel like going out to find something. The parking is tight, but there is someone on hand to direct and assist." "Olive Grove review"

1 night Arrived 1 Jul 2024
"We had a very large suite which we appreciated and the bed was super comfortable.

Olive Grove seems a bit pretentious. The rooms were dark b/c of the darkened color of the walls and with concrete floor, walls and ceiling, the room was an echo chamber. The toilet area had no privacy.

Staff were not particularly engaged but were helpful when needed." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

2 nights Arrived 27 Jun 2024
"It is a charming hotel with friendly staff.

At time the restaurant seemed overwhelmed. For example on the morning of our departure we went to breakfast early, only to depart the hotel an hour later than intended because it took so long to get our breakfast. This was a little frustrating, and the hotel might consider adding additional staff and additional staff during busy meal times.

Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and found the rooms were well appointed." See all these reviews: 20n in Namibia

"Great last night (&day) in Namibia"

1 night Arrived 25 Jun 2024
"After 3 weeks in the Bush and on gravel roads, the 4 of us very much enjoyed the luxury & peace of the rooms and baths of Olive Grove before taking our flight home.

Dinner was excellent and the chief of staff was kind enough to organize a birthday cake overnight for our eldest. Olive Grove established the connection for a 3 hours city tour of Windhoek, including main landmarks of the city, Katutura, a local market at Katutura (impressive) and a visit at the Penduka women's development project crafts center. We paid N$2800 for the four of us.

Our guide & driver Gary did just an OK job, really just driving us around & taking care of us. These tours of Katutura & the city are probably good business; the more knowledgeable the guide, the better your tour will get." See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia
