Chris Montgomery joined the Fiesta Bowl in November 2023 as the Director of Volunteer Engagement. In his role, Montgomery will develop and execute volunteer engagement strategies that drives to new volunteer acquisitions, provide quality training and retention plans to build a world class volunteer network for the organization.
Montgomery joined the bowl with a rich professional history in strategic management, marketing and sales expertise. Immediately before the Fiesta Bowl, Montgomery spent nine years as the Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships at the Arizona Golf Association. Montgomery also enjoyed 19 years with the Phoenix Suns, the first decade in sales and management and the final nine years as the Director of Premium Clients Services.
A native of Chicago, Montgomery embarked on his management journey with Sears Roebuck & Company.
Montgomery currently serves as a Commissioner on Scottsdale Tourism Development Commission and contributes to Arizona State University's Sports Advisory Board. Montgomery, a former three-year football letterwinner at Northern Illinois University, resides in Scottsdale with his wife, Megan, and children.
