Ed Erhardt recently retired following a 20-year career at ESPN, where he most recently served as president of global sales and marketing and directed the multimedia sales, consumer marketing, research and advertising business operations. Under his direction, ESPN broke ground with the first unified sales organization for Walt Disney Company’s sports assets across all media platforms, incorporating enhanced research and analytics and marketing efforts that include branding, creative services and advertising. He also had oversight of the award-winning “This is SportsCenter” campaign. A sought-after speaker in cross-media marketing and sales, Erhardt was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement and earned the Distinguished Citizenship Award from the John A. Reisenbach Foundation. Prior to ESPN, he worked at industry-leading publication Advertising Age, including as Group Publisher where he was responsible for all content and business operations.
