  • Title
    VP of Finance & Accounting

Pete Vazquez was appointed as the Fiesta Bowl’s Vice President of Finance & Accounting in January 2024 after initially joining the organization as Interim Controller in 2023. He will oversee the department’s financial activities on a day-to-day basis and in setting strategic priorities to position the organization for success in football and community initiatives.

Vazquez, a native of Chicago, got his start at a business law firm before moving on to CVS/Caremark as a Senior Financial Analyst. He then spent eight years with Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) and Translational Drug Development (TD2). As TD2’s Controller, he successfully separated TD2 from its parent company to become a For Profit entity and into a $5 million revenue company.
