Job: Wildfire Adaptation Coordinator - University of Idaho - Ririe, ID or Grangeville, ID (Posted: )
This position will facilitate collaboration among landowners, agencies, scientists, and politicians in developing actionable plans and implementing place-based fire adaptation strategies among diverse human populations in Idaho. The position is a joint partnership between the University of Idaho (UI) College of Natural Resources and the Idaho Department of Lands (IDL). The unique nature of UI partnership with IDL will allow the successful candidate to explore opportunities and challenges surrounding fire adaptation in their duty region, help advance collaborative strategies or foci surrounding fire adaptation among various human populations and help advance IDL initiatives to increase pre- and post-wildfire management capacity.
