A word weaver by nature, Saiber , 21, is a story teller by choice and a poet by heart. Her writings reflect life in all its glory and tragedy. Her words, raw and pure, connect with people and remind them what it is like to be human- to love, to hurt and to heal.

Rich in emotions and fierce in its truth, her writings explore human and personal experiences in all its shaking, tender bravery. She becomes an unrelenting force of sincere, fearless writing with her heartrendingly honest prose and poetry.

A firm advocate of nap-time anytime anywhere and cat and dog people unity, she passes her time daydreaming about shopping, kissing in library and adopting a pet panda.

When she is not writing she is busy collecting stories and sparkles and pretend

I wrote those poems, what should I do now?

A not so comprehensive guide in publishing poetry.
(Updated infrequently as I am asked more questions.)

And other bookish titles from my imaginary How –To book I possibly can’t complete.

A very informal guide, if you see typos, do let me know. I have written this very haphazardly and with no sleep.

Also included - How to sell poetry.

After I got published traditionally with my first poetry book in 2 Read more of this blog post »

“When did you first fall in love?"

"I think, I first fell in love
when I was in fifth grade
with this boy who kept his glass ruler in the sunlight
and made rainbows on my desk with it.”
Saiber, Stardust and Sheets

“The sea loved the moon
When she was supposed to love the shore.

The moon knew
And hence made his intentions known.

That she should love the shore
Who was destined for her.

Yet his protests seemed weak.
And even when he pushed her towards the shore-
She always retreated back.

To want, to need, to love the moon
For all she's worth.

Everyone said, it wasn't meant to happen.
Yet, the Tsunami rose that night for their union.”
Saiber, Stardust and Sheets

“You tasted like fire
And I miss that.
So, at times
I drank a little.
And at times,
I drank too much.
But I only drank
Till it burned me enough.”
Saiber, Stardust and Sheets

“Tonight I can write the saddest lines
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.”
Pablo Neruda, Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair

“I see specks
of the Universe in your eyes.

A body of stardust
that gives me a high.

And when we make love
the stars shine brighter than usual.

When we lie there
holding each other,

I see love making us.”
Saiber, Stardust and Sheets

“Outline of your frame
My paper witness your silhouette
Sipping in coffee
My muse, my Juliet.

Afternoon spent,
In hungry desires
Ending with a kiss
On your coffee lips.”
Saiber, Stardust and Sheets

“You tasted like fire
And I miss that.
So, at times
I drank a little.
And at times,
I drank too much.
But I only drank
Till it burned me enough.”
Saiber, Stardust and Sheets

“I am the most tired woman in the world. I am tired when I get up. Life requires an effort I cannot make. Please give me that heavy book. I need to put something heavy like that on top of my head. I have to place my feet under the pillows always, so as to be able to stay on earth. Otherwise I feel myself going away, going away at a tremendous speed, on account of my lightness. I know that I am dead. As soon as I utter a phrase my sincerity dies, becomes a lie whose coldness chills me. Don't say anything, because I see that you understand me, and I am afraid of your understanding. I have such a fear of finding another like myself, and such a desire to find one! I am so utterly lonely, but I also have such a fear that my isolation be broken through, and I no longer be the head and ruler of my universe. I am in great terror of your understanding by which you penetrate into my world; and then I stand revealed and I have to share my kingdom with you.”
Anais Nin
