Charlee is a long time fan of love, adventure, and happily-ever-after. She grew up in Florida where a huge fallen oak tree in the swampy woods near her home served as her very own Star Ship Enterprise. Luckily the alligators were almost never a problem on her spaceship as the flight-deck was several feet above the muddy ground. She did lose a few tennis shoes on away missions, though.

Today, Charlee writes super sexy, intensely emotional, romantic adventure that takes readers to exciting new worlds, populated by tortured alpha heroes and heroines tough enough to tame them.

Charlee Allden is currently not accepting new questions.

Hi LaLa!

Currently trying to re-title the second book in the Arena Dogs series, but it will be something-Jupiter. Much of the book happens concurrently with Stealing Mercury but following different characters. Why didn't the resistance show up to get Mercury and his brothers as planed?

That doesn't necessarily mean characters from the first book won't return, but they aren't the focus. You'll learn more about all of the ongoing questions about their world, but you won't have all the pieces of that puzzle in book two. There will definitely be a third story set in this world, probably more. What you can definitely expect is a complete romance in every book. Thanks for your question!(less)

“Readers understand that the books celebrate female power. In the romance novel, the woman always wins. With courage, intelligence and gentleness she brings the most dangerous creature on the earth, the human male, to his knees.”

“My experience of life is that it is not divided up into genres; it’s a horrifying, romantic, tragic, comical, science-fiction cowboy detective novel. You know, with a bit of pornography if you're lucky.”

Take heart from the knowledge that an author with a strong voice will often have trouble at the start of his or her career because strong, distinctive voices sometimes make editors nervous.
