Hi Hattie,

Thank you for your question.

I was brought up in a Catholic family and as a small child I had a strong faith. I think people should find their own path in terms of religion so I wouldn't be great at convincing people to have the same beliefs as me.

All best,

Thank you for your kind words, I am glad that you found Himself an interesting read, I really enjoyed writing the ghosts in particular. My second book is based in London but with Irish characters and my short stories will be set mostly in Ireland. All best, Jess

“Words are capable of flying. They dart through windows, over fences, between bar stools and across courtyards. They travel rapidly from mouth to ear, from ear to mouth. And as they go, they pick up speed and weight and substance and gravity. Until they land with a scud, take seed and grow as fast as the unruliest of beanstalks.”
Jess Kidd, Himself

“Memory is like a wayward dog. Sometimes it drops the ball and sometimes it brings it, and sometimes it doesn’t bring a ball at all; it brings a shoe.”
Jess Kidd, The Hoarder

“Stories, particularly the bad ones, are told in their own time.”
