Hi Leticia, thanks for asking.

Not currently. After everything she's been through, I thought Mars deserved a break.

In all seriousness though, I thought I'd told Mars' story and was ready to move on, but my brain doesn't want to leave the universe behind, and has already started feeding me ideas for another book in the future. I don't know when (or if) I'll get around to writing it because I've got other books to write first, but I expect it would be very different to the original trilogy. Where they were deliberately small and personal, this new book would be more of a traditional space opera - putting Mars up against the empire directly, and exploring the politics of leadership and power.

So, in short, no, not yet. But I'll more than likely return to the VoidWitch universe one day.(less)

Now Zero, December, 2022

Pretend you’re good at it. – Neil Gaiman, via Jenny Lawson And all the rest I’ve decided to bring these monthly updates to a close. The fact is, I’m not a full-time writer, I don’t always have things to talk about, and this is just another self-imposed duty I’ve assigned to myself whether I have … Continue reading Now Zero, December, 2022 Read more of this blog post »

“Doc, some houses are meant to burn.”
Corey J. White, Void Black Shadow

“Ring One is where my people live. Well, not my people, but the closest thing I want to find: the freaks, the runaways, the perpetual wanderers, the organized crime, the genehackers, the bodychoppers, the digital-wannabes, the loose, the inebriated, the ones with no common sense, no career and no desire for one, the fed up, fucked up, and flamed out. The whole place is like a dangerous chemical concoction. You never know what might set off a reaction, and the threat of violence hangs in the air thick as the smell.”
Corey J. White, Killing Gravity

“I want to help you, JD, but we can’t do it on our own. It’s me, your wrench, and his philosophy degree against a pack of teenage monsters.”
Corey J. White, Repo Virtual

Steve Aylett, Atom

“Behind the bar hung a photo of Roni Loveless, the boxer who, ordered to throw a fight, burst through an inner struggle to beat not only his opponent but everyone in the arena and its locality in an outward-blooming explosion of violence against suppressive mediocrity.”
