Glass Houses by Madeline Ashby
"Well it sucked me in enough I basically finished this mostly in one sitting. So 4.5 rounded up to 5. Appropriately twisty, even if it got a bit confusing. Quick read. Very entertaining."

"This book reminded me of "The Future" by Alderman. It is a cautionary tale set in the near future and is told in two time periods. It featured a tech billionaire (Sumter) who is a little unhinged and a strong young woman (Kristen), with a tragic back" Read more of this review »

“...he could feel hot tears coming to his eyes as the image of that night, outside the house as the November wind blew black leaves up off the ground and the sky turned colors like bruised flesh.”
David Nickle, Eutopia: A Novel of Terrible Optimism

“By this time it was well past midnight. You know how that is. It’s a time when you start asking questions about things that in the light of day you wouldn’t consider twice. It’s a time … well, we both know how that goes, in the dark hour.”
David Nickle, The Best Horror of the Year: Volume Four
