Vanessa Chan was born and raised in Malaysia. She is the author of The Storm We Made, an international bestseller, and a Good Morning America and BBC Radio 2 book club pick. The novel, her first, will be translated in over twenty languages worldwide. Her other writing has been published in Vogue, Esquire, Electric Lit, and more. She loves to read (of course), but also really loves TV, spicy food, and brightly colored clothes.
