Really enjoyed the audio version, narrated by Katherine Kellgren. I thought the narrators were a little intrusive and silly at times, but overall I love the magic aspect rolled into a historical tale. Lots of romance and humor entwined in a serious plot to save the kingdom.

My Lady Jane was such a strange and funny take on historical figure/events. Perfect for fans of The Princess Bride/Monty Python. I love, love, love this book.

*The more I think about this book, I realize that it isn't four stars...it's a bloody 5 star book.

I really enjoyed this book.
I was laughing, shaking my head in thought at how the book was written.
Love how it was written as the narrator talks to the reader and not at the reader. Nicely done.

King Edward is dying. Best to make Jane his cousin the Queen.
But there's a reason to this and I don't wanna spoil it. Love Jane as a character she's very memorable she speaks her mind. She's a bookworm that loves knowledge.
She married G as her cousin requested in order for her to have kids as she's Queen.

Cheeky!

That's the word to sum up this book. Omniscient narrator, which seems to be the new trend. I didn't mind it, but that's probably because the humor was present everywhere, as if one of your favorite comedians were reading the story aloud to you.

It's silly. It's ridiculous. And it's brilliant. I listened to the audio version (the narrator was genius) and I felt like I was listening to a movie. I laughed aloud.

Don't miss this one.

Content warning: some mentions to nudity (the characters tran
