How many books will you imagine there to be in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series? and How do you estimate old will Sophie get before the series ends? lastly, Will there be a sequel series after KOTLC? I absolutely love these books, and as i know that it is more work with you, I would love for #5 to be longer, not shorter, or about the same length. Thank you so much for writing!

Shannon Messenger I honestly don't know the answer to any of these questions--sorry! I take the series very "book by book." So right now, I'm writing book 5, and that's all I really know. Whether or not I'll need another book after that depends on how much story is left by the time I get to the end. And a sequel series would be the same thing--if there are other stories in the world that I want to tell with different characters. I'm so focused on book 5 right now that it's all I can see.
