First book by Lynn H Blackburn that I have ever read but it won’t be my last! Already started the second book in this series. My favorite thing about First book by Lynn H Blackburn that I have ever read but it won’t be my last! Already started the second book in this series. My favorite thing about this book was that two of the characters were adopted after the parents found out they could not have children themselves. Leigh’s mom saying she would not have it any other way is something I’ve said to my four adopted children and to others many times. I also love that the characters have relationships with Christ and those are evident throughout the book....more
Erica James has a skip trace business specializing in finding lost children. The one child she can’t find is her own daughter Molly, who was kidnappedErica James has a skip trace business specializing in finding lost children. The one child she can’t find is her own daughter Molly, who was kidnapped while on a field trip to the zoo. From page one this book is fast paced and exciting. The police find new evidence about Molly’s disappearance and on page one we find Erica looking for a crack house attempting to locate Lydia Powell, the girl whose fingerprints were on the new evidence. Lydia’s brother Max is also at the crack house trying to find her. Erica and Max go through quite a lot in this fast paced Christian suspense. I will admit I had my suspicions about who the kidnapper was but was not sure until it was revealed. Another win for Lynette Eason!...more

I learned about Heidi Gray McGill from Tema Banner’s author page and decided to download A Bride for Harley. So very glad I did. Christian historical fiction is one of my favorite genres. From the very beginning the story of Loretta and Harley drew me in. Their starts and stops and back and forth were endearing. Mr and Mrs Harrison had such a strong beautiful faith and it was a joy to learn from them. Well written Ms McGill. I will enjoy reading more from you....more
