I got dozens upon dozens of emails/FB messages from readers asking about their story. I was excited and petrified in equal measure at the anticipation I felt from readers. I hope you love/enjoy Evie and Westfall’s journey to Happy Ever After as much as I did.

He meets our heroine, Alicia Lambert when she is shown into his room by mistake. Inebriated from celebrating his return to England Sebastian disbelieves her protests and is reluctant to let her escape. This is the premise that launches Sebastian’s and Alicia’s love story, and it is a wonderful one. I was not disappointed by how their courtship unravelled and as usual Giselle writes beautifully. After their brief but torrid encounter, he sees Alicia in London. Charmed by her wit, talent, and intelligence, he pursues her and proposes marriage. Alicia doubts his feelings are real and she rejects him, but Sebsastian is determined and pursues her. We are then treated to witty bantering between our hero and heroine, stolen moments of passion and a nefarious plot by a very dubious character named Mallinder. The characters are very interesting. I really enjoyed revisiting the characters that I liked from Giselle’s first novel The Fencing Master’s Daughter. I really got to see how they were adjusting and how much their love flourished. Giselle has a way of writing that brings freshness and life to secondary characters. Without a doubt, the reader knows the stars are Sebastian and Alicia. But she brings everyone to the forefront of the reader’s mind in an intriguing way. A way that makes you wants to read the supporting characters story. Giselle has really done her research and wove the story with factual information that lends to its authenticity. I enjoyed this novel, and I would recommend it to fans of Regency romances. ...more

The development of their romance felt so real. I think that is what I loved so much, I believed all the emotions Cait felt. The anger, the grief, the pain, the need for a lover's touch, and then the yearning she felt for Iain. Iain was also a wonderful character, I was so drawn to him. I enjoyed the romance, and the plot running in the background. This was my first book by this author but I will be reading more...more

I found Seducing the Marquees to be a charming and delightful read. I loved that our hero and heroine were already married, and it was wonderful seeing how Devon and Eugenia tried to adjust the intimacy of marriage. The author crafted each character with care, and they were written well. Eugenia’s need to be loved by her husband, and to pleasure and love him in return was heartfelt and felt so genuine. I connected with her and I was rooting for her to successfully seduce her Marquess heart and body. Devon was also well crafted character who believed as a proper gentleman he could not be too free with his passions with his wife. Eugenia flustered him with her innocent seduction and it was fun watching how he unraveled for her. Overall this was a sweet, sensual, charming read and I recommend to lovers of historical romance. ...more
