They are all so unique and each have something different that makes their heart beat.
Darcy and Orion have my entire heart. Tory and Darius will eventually.
I think Tory’s reaction at the very end of the book was a tiny bit dramatic because I’m finally starting to warm up to Darius. He didn’t have malicious and betraying thoughts from his POV and I hope Tory sees this in the next book......more

It gives you the point of view of the four heirs + Orion. If I'm being honest, I mainly read this for Orion, but still enjoyed the other four almost as much!
I wasn't sure about reading this right after book 1, but I strongly recommend it now. I started reading it right after book one and then read it in tandem with books 2 and 3. Looking back now, I feel like it's best to read it right after book 1!! The plotline and characters are still fresh in your head and so much stuff happens between each book that you might get slightly confused.
Normally I don't LOVE a whole new book with the same plot and different points of view because it can be a tad boring. This honestly wasn't the case here and I almost loved it as much as the first book. Getting Darius' and Orion's perspectives truly made this book and added to the overall story.
Getting insight onto why the heirs act the way they do is so eye-opening and I honestly formed a soft spot for all of them (even if it's a small one) <3 Max still has a ways to go...
“We'd been humiliated, belittled, abused and beaten. But not broken, we were made of stronger stuff than that."
The obsession I now have with this se “We'd been humiliated, belittled, abused and beaten. But not broken, we were made of stronger stuff than that."
The obsession I now have with this series is unreal. After finishing the Cruel Prince series, I have been craving a new enemies-to-lovers series and this hit the spot.
Reasons to read this book - ENEMIES TO LOVERS - Bully romance - A darker, fae spin on Hogwarts - Forbidden love - Fae who are also: Shifters, vampires, sirens, werewolves, dragons etc... - A hot, grumpy, vampire professor - “It suits you,” he said. “What does?” I asked. “Smiling.” - "I think the time for sirs and professors is over, don't you?"
The first book's ending shocked me to no end and I was left reeling. One of the best things about these books is that the next one picks up right where we left off. There is no room for interpretation or theories - we get right to the goods. This book was so addicting as we got to see the revenge Tory and Darcy got on the Heirs. I truly could not put this book down. The writing style was so smart - Every time the revenge plot was in place for each heir we would get the POV from one of the girls and then the Heir. SO SMART AND ADDICTING!!
This book also gives us the POVs of the four heirs + Orion (and obviously Tory and Darcy). I'm not usually one for multiple points of view cause I tend to get lost and lose interest in a couple of the characters, but this isn't the case. I really enjoyed each of the POVs *even Max and Seth's who I despise*.
The romance in this book isn't your typical romance and I'm here for it. Darcy and Orion in this book had me on my goddamn knees. I love those two more than any other book couple. The combination of forbidden love, the age gap, and the denial of feelings is pure perfection. AND THE SLOW BURN OHMYGOD. Perfection, once again. Then we have Tory and her love interests. Now let's be honest here: I don't love Caleb and Tory, but they do have chemistry. Darius is my guy, but I'm predicting that he'll get his turn eventually.
This review feels like it's all over the place cause I'm currently reading the third book and the awakening from the boy's POV - So I'm basically trying to remember what is what from each book haha. Anyways no surprise here: 5/5 stars :)...more

This book was everything. It bewitched me, body and soul. I fell in love with the characters and my body is literally yearning for the next book.
ALSO, NO ONE MENTIONED THAT THERE IS A HOT, GRUMPY, VAMPIRE PROFESSOR... If that's not enough to get you to read this book then idk what is...
Tory and Darcy are two 18-year-olds just trying to get by and then their whole world gets turned upside down when they find out they aren't human. They are immediately transported to a mirror world of Earth known as, Solaria. They begin to attend a school called Zodiac where they run into a group of four guys who essentially run the school - even the professors turn a blind eye to their antics. Tory and Darcy begin navigating the brand new world and quickly realize that they are not welcomed with open arms.
Zodiac Academy: The Awakening is a new adult, bully romance, paranormal book and I loved every minute of it. I'm not usually one for bully romances, but this one was written so perfectly that I didn't even seem to mind. The plot is so intriguing with secrets and magic, that the bullying wasn't the main part of the story. On top of that, the bullying was bad, but I have definitely read worse...
If you know me, you know I despise zodiac signs/horoscopes WITH A PASSION. With zodiac literally being in the name of this book I was a bit worried, but I actually loved the zodiac part of the novel. They get horoscopes every couple of days which acted as a premonition for some chapters and it was actually kind of fun to predict what was going to happen.
As I'm writing this review, I'm beginning to see that this book was set up for me NOT to like it. The novel follows Tory and Darcy in a dual POV *which I usually don't love*, but I honestly enjoyed both perspectives. I love both sisters for different reasons, but definitely enjoyed Darcy's love interests more <3
Holy sh*t this was good!!! I was craving a boarding school romance book and this was the first one I came across. I had no expectations, but this bookHoly sh*t this was good!!! I was craving a boarding school romance book and this was the first one I came across. I had no expectations, but this book would've exceeded them regardless. From beginning to end, I was HOOKED.
Aidan and Elsa had just about the perfect enemies to lovers. Their initial meeting had me craving answers right away and I could not put this book down. Their chemistry was present throughout the entire novel, but Rina Kent did a beautiful job at a slow burn, but not too slow. ALSO, I loved the slight presence of mystery!!
My only complaint is partially my fault because I didn't realize their story continued in another book. I am not the biggest fan of cliffhangers and wish it just wrapped up and ended, but nonetheless, I will be continuing their story in the next book :) ...more

Jude and Cardan have my whole entire heart. They had the perfect enemies-to-lovers story and I loved how it was all wrapped up in the third book. I also loved the Roach and the Bomb omg I was smiling to myself about those two <3 Taryn and everyone else can go hug a cactus.
I read this book in one sitting and my only regret is that it's finished. I was addicted to this book from beginning to end. ...more

2018 REVIEW: Where do I even begin???
All the 5-star reviews make me question life and the people who wrote them. The book was overall weird and had odd romance.
The book revolves around Ella, a teen who lost both her parents and lives alone. Now comes along Mr. Callum Royal, a rich man who claims to have known her father and now wants to be Ella's legal guardian. So Ella now goes with this random guy to live in his house with his 5 sons. While at the house, Callum explains to Ella that if she stays with them for the rest of high school, then he will give her $10,000 each month...WTF. Anyways, now Ella is at the house with the 5 sons who basically hate her more than anything. She goes to school and gets bullied. She goes home and gets bullied. She tries out for teams and gets bullied. She goes to parties and gets bullied. There is no end to this girl and she doesn't learn common sense either.
Things get weird with her and her somewhat 'stepbrothers' First she and Easton are kind of together and then they aren't. Then she and Reed are together...sort of on and off. I know that Ella and the five boys aren't blood-related, Callum basically adopted her, but it still doesn't make it any less weird.
Maybe its just me that doesn't like this book, but still, 0.5 stars. Next time I should probably read up more on books before wasting my time on them.......more

Idk what I was thinking in 2018, but I stayed up until 3am reading this last night. I adored the plot, the characters and THE ENDING. Even though I've read it before, the ending still managed to shock me... This book is now officially one of my absolute favourites.

3 stars -- Aw man... I really really wish I liked this book better. It's kind of mixed feelings for this book. There were so many awesome reviews for this book and I was kind of disappointed... But I think it might be my fault for having such high expectations.
The book revolves around Jude, a 17-year-old human girl who lives in Faerie. As a child, her and her sister parents died and they were taken to the High Court of Faerie. Ten years later, Jude wants to become a knight and earn her place in a world where she knows no one will accept her for being a human. One of her major problems is the youngest son of the High King. In order to win her spot, she must defy him and risk her life doing so.
Okay, so this book was pretty good overall, but I just found it to be a little boring. Although Jude has a great character, I often found myself frustrated with her. I ESPECIALLY didn't like Locke - He was just ugh. But on the other hand, I adored Prince Cardan, the youngest son of the King. I mean who doesn't love the rude, but sometimes sweet asshole in a book. And closer to the end it says.....
"He leans in and closes his eyes. “Most of all, I hate you because I think of you. Often. It’s disgusting, and I can’t stop."
But I will say that the plot twists in this book were 5 STARS for sure. I am still really bummed that I didn't enjoy this book better....more
