Noelle is a fiercely independent single mom experiencing something she had hoped to avoid…especially under these circumstances. Grant is a knight in shining armor when he rescues her in a very sexy (if unintentional) way and immediately falls for her daughter, Scarlett. Full disclosure - books centered around yearning to have a child, babies, etc. are not my trope of choice. That being said, I really enjoyed the characters and the story. The writing is good and the story is engaging. Grant is very smexy and a good man who does the right things in his devotion. Noelle is a strong female character and her friend group is awesome and this has been a great series!
Narration by Connor Crais and CJ Bloom was my favorite part of the book. They are both wonderful performers who really bring the book to life with all of the emotional entanglements and complicated characters. ...more

Kennedy Ryan is a beautiful soul who pours blood, sweat, and tears into her work and you can feel it in every word! I held off a bit (just to torture myself) because I knew this would hit me in all the feels. Soledad's journey resonated with me in a lot of ways, so I was seriously cheering for her as she picked herself up and became the lady warrior she was meant to be! Her struggle is messy and hard, and beautiful. Judah is a wonderful characters as well - I just love how he and his ex navigated their divorce and put the focus on the kids. He is on his own journey, and the way they cultivate their relationship from attraction to friends to lovers to forever is a realistically messy, steamy, wonderful journey of finding yourself and finding love again. This book is full of beautiful families full of love and support.
Narration by Jakobi Diem is exactly what we know and love - excellent performance with all the feels, all the steamy swoons, and all of the little inflections between. Love him! Ines del Castillo is new to me, but I really loved her performance of this beautiful character and will definitely listen to more of her work in the future. Excellent casting for this unique and beautiful journey of heartbreak, betrayal, healing, self discovery, and finally love (with the drop-dead steamy hawtness)!!!...more
