♥ Rebecca ♥ Wow, glad I quit this series after book 2. I quit because I didn't like that that Celaena left at the end and I thought it would be one of many things being put between her and Chaol just to make it a long, drawn-out, and painful relationship. I dont know since I've missed 2 books, but is it possible that is what it is, and things will be fixed by the end of book 6? Plus I never liked Celaena, so if she got worse I cant imagine.

Girl, you have no idea.
I actually hope you read the two books just so I can read your reviews.

♥ Rebecca ♥ Haha, if it was a trilogy I would have just bit the bullet and finished it. But 4 more books?! I don't think I can't handle that. It would be too painful.

Darcy Dann YES THIS REVIEW. Agreed, agreed, agreed. I have never been more content with being in the minority/unpopular opinions part of a fandom.

Haha, same here Darcy. I still can not believe this series took a turn like this.

Thanks, Navessa. If you decided to give it a go, I bet your review would be amazing for it. Hahaha ♥.

Stacy Your review hits the nail on the head for me!! :) At the end of the book, that brief scene where Celaena (I call her that instead of Aelin bc C is what she was called when I loved her!!) and Dorian go to visit Chaol was so good bc the original three were together again. I was like YES, these three should be the heart of this series. Why can't we have that again? I loved books 1 & 2 so much!! I noticed in your ACOMAF review you mentioned something like...whispers to Chaol, there might still be hope for you. I'd love to know why you think this based on ACOMAF!! I agree that all Aelin/Rowan stuff makes me absolutely cringe, and I am most excited about Dorian & Manon in book 5. Without their storylines, I might not continue.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write on my review, Stacy! I'm so sorry I'm so late with this reply! My twitter is currently exploding with EoS spoilers, so I had to come back and reference my review and saw your sweet comment <3.

I hope EoS is everything we are hoping for! Especially with how much I, personally, loved ACOMAF! >^.^<

This is why you're my favorite, Maria! Thank you so much for your (always) kind words! Even though this was a bit of a miss for me, I CANNOT WAIT FOR EOS! <3 xx

Me neither! Counting down the days!!!!

Samantha Sophia I couldn’t even finish this book. This whole series has been schizophrenic and inconsistent. The naming of places and people has also been strange. I really like SJM and I think I only read this because the thirst of waiting for the ACOTAR spin-off was too much, plus it’s been optioned and I was hoping for Game of Thrones level of entertainment. The series is not on any of the levels I mentioned. I hope the script writers do better. The writing, plot and character development on this series is so disappointing.

Penny Much EXCITE

Miriam Rose I have seen a lot of people rate the book lower than the last. I might read Crown of Midnight now because enough people have told me it's a 4 or a 5 star read...I'll give this series a chance again.
