“So brave deeds and endure...if I can’t move heaven, then I shall raise hell.”
This was excellent! Devoured in 2 days.
4.5 ⭐️
A select group of guests are invited to stay on a secluded island in Ireland for the wedding of two elite and beautiful people.
Jules has built herself a successful business with her online magazine, while charming, jaw-droppingly handsome Will is a tv star.
When the ushers arrive, full of boisterous energy and nostalgia for their raucous school boy days things start to get crazy.
Throw in the bride’s old flame and his new wife and suddenly there are secrets everywhere.
The tension is built so well, bit by bit. Each time we get a new reveal or a new secret I was itching to read more.
I liked how it ended, I didn’t see it coming but it was believable. The only reason this got 4.5 instead of 5 ⭐️ is because in one chapter (view spoiler) It isn’t relevant to the story whatsoever and I’m probably being really petty but...isn’t that the point of the editing process to get these things ironed out?
Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed this twisty ride full of secrets and a fantastically creepy atmosphere.

The usher thing bothered me a lot, too. Especially seeing as the author is an editor herself! I was also bothered by the comment made about the grave on the island being empty “and you know why” (something like that)—why?? The body being referred to there was found. 🤷🏼♀️
