Holy shit this was fantastic!

My new favourite Nancy Drew is back for round two in this sequel to A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.

Pippa Fitz-Amobi is done with detective work. After all the drama and attention the previous year she just wants to focus on school, friends and passing her exams for university.

But when one of her best friends, Connor, approaches Pip to ask if she will look into the disappearance of his older brother, how can she say no?

I will admit, there are far fetched elements, and even parts I guessed. But I don’t mind that as long as the plot is good. And damn this was a non stop page turner!

(view spoiler)[ turns out the local journalist Stanley Forbes is in witness protection as his father was a serial killer and he was forced to help him when he was a kid. One of the victims’ brother has been looking for Stanley and wants to punish him. Connor’s brother unfortunately got caught up in it through Charlie cat fishing as a woman online. I did think the new neighbours Charlie and Flora were a bit suspicious. (hide spoiler)]

Overall, I was gripped and I cannot wait for book 3!
