To be honest I only bought this because of the cover. I had no idea what this book was about and I'd never heard of it before. It did not disappoint! It's a beautiful story of friendship set in a magical sea world. Some parts of it were pretty hard to follow for me, but rereading always helps for those chapters. The end was satisfying enough but I do wish it was a little more edgy. The writing is beautiful and the descriptions vivid. Happy I picked this up!
