it was ok

"But all of this raises an interesting question. What if it always is the end of the world?"

The first 10% is beautifully written, but then the story changes direction and I spent most of the book wondering if I liked it. It does have some interesting and thought-provoking moments, but because of the fast moving pace, we don't really get to delve deep into the story or the characters.

Karen A very interesting review, Martine. I love the title of the book and the cover image. Because of those, I think I’d imagined I’d imagined that it would be a slow, calm book, not fast paced.

Martine Honestly, it was a strange story for me. But, I thought about it for days afterwards. I'm in the minority on this one, so it could be just me 🤷🏻‍♀️
