Ahhh Murderbot. Even on a reread, with some redundant schtick and plot movement, you never fail to make me happy.

These books are just so dang approachable, and it is impossible not to root for our rogue SecUnit.

This series is becoming my own version of 'Sanctuary Moon', and I couldn't be happier about that.

Another fun adventure. Another bunch of laughs. Another appreciative round of character resonance. Quick and tidy and comfortable.

Thank you, Yun! I do quite like them. I hope you do too, when you get around to them!

Thanks Baba! It hits the right spots, for me. :)

Nataliya This series is definitely my personal “Sanctuary Moon” as well! I just listened to sine yesterday — it never loses its charm even when I know half of it by heart now.

It really doesn’t get old, even when it probably should! Strange magic, that, and I’m forever grateful for it

Ellis So lovely to have a Sanctuary Moon of one's own! It's near the top of my list (of two) fictional television shows I'd love to watch, but since that's not happening thankfully we can live vicariously through Murderbot.

I’d love to see what Sanctuary Moon looks like! You’ve got me thinking of other fictional pop culture I’d like to see/read/hear…what’s the other television show, if I can ask?

Kelly Link has a short story called "Magic for Beginners" where she talks about this tv series about rogue librarians who work at The Free People's World-Tree Library and the cast swap parts and they have many adventures and I've been thinking about how much I want to watch it for at least ten years. I feel as compelled about Sanctuary Moon, I would love to know what it's about, how it all works. It makes me think of one of those K-dramas that have 170+ episodes.

Oh that sounds awesome! It makes me think of an ongoing Shakespeare production company in the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde (which I adore) where every play is acted out by members of the audience chosen at random every night. It’s so fun!

Oh, that sounds amazing too!

J.L. Sutton Great review, Michelle! Love how 'Murderbot' is your own 'Sanctuary Moon!' Even with some of the same schtick in each one, I feel the same way!

It’s oddly comforting, isn’t it? Glad you’re loving it too, J.L. :) Thank you!
