I just want to point out that Megan has publicly stated the only two poems about MGK are the last two about their child. The others are poems about relationships before him!

I want to come in and just put my theory in. She may claim that but as someone that has listened to Colson since his first EP, I highly believe the whole thing is about him. Colson was born with his umbilical cord around his neck. His dad talks about this as the end of his song "Lonely." Megan starts a poem talking about someone born with their umbilical cord around their throat. Additionally, she talks about this relationship with someone who was abandoned as a child, alcoholic father, mother who left... all things that have happened to Kells. They've also been to couples therapy as seen in the news, and there's a poem about that. The rumors about her broken arm, and poems about abuse... poems about substance abuse by her partner, which Kells has always had problems with.... they also talk in his documentary about his suicidal ideations, his unhappiness even when he had a #1 record. She also started wearing less clothing when they got together. She has a poem called a 6-foot-4-damsel-in-distress.... MGK is 6'4".... Definitely thinking the whole thing is about them...
Absolutely, Tanner. If anyone knows his music well, which I do too, it is blatantly clear which poems are about him and I would speculate that’s most of them. “Rockstar, designer clothes, pull up your combat boots, narcissist, pregnancy loss, twin flames which they’ve both claimed they’re each others, etc. As with most art, she was probably inspired by many relationships in her life, but the parallels are way too similar to not be mostly Colson (MGK).
