The story's pace was good for my liking, but I couldn't put it down, I can admit that the writing is not spectacular and the plot wasn't really developed, it didn't get in-depth into their stories or give us enough background?! For the most part, they were roaming around the desert and doing absolutely unnecessary things BUTTTTT with all that being said, I still liked the book. Here is why:

The banter, them bickering all the time was so fun to read, I still WOULD sell my soul for Kai because that man carried the book on his shoulder! I'm not even lying when I say I highlighted every single word that came out of his mouth!😭so basically, I gave it 4 stars for Kai Azer, sue me! 😭

And the ending, have no wordsssss!! another cliffhanger, Lauren? How am I going to wait almost a year to find out why you did that?😭

Absolutely perfection, Chase Brown brought Kai’s character to life and I don't think anyone else could have done it better!
Cecily Bednar Schmidt was the perfect sound for her, so definitely 10/10 !
