Reckless has recked me.. in so many more ways than one.

Reckless doesn't deserve 5 stars. It deserves 10 glorious DIMOND stars.
I really loved the world building and how Kai and Pae can put aside their past to work together and hear each other out to work things out.
I was promised banter was I not? On this.. Reckless didn't really deliver. Sure they had their moments but not enough. It doesn't bother me enough to nock down my rating of the book.

"As Ilya's Enforcer and second to the king, she's my property. MINE. Which means if anyone so much as lays a hand on her, you'll learn first hand just how brutal the Elites can be."

Kai is laying claim here😭🤣🤣🤣don't blame him tho.

"Let me dance for the both of us."
"Let me swim for the both of us."
I love the sort of parallel here! And ohhhh, KAI😭😭My heart fills to the brim in his chapters.

And: "The truth then?" "The truth always."
Here and powerless? TWICE? Dyingggggg

Quotes that broke me:
'She was supposed to be my forever.'
And
'Because the beast doesn't get the beauty.' KAI NO😭😭U WILL GET HER. It's just a matter of time.
