I had no idea what this book was about, just keep seeing all the five star reviews. It turns out it is in the horror genre. While this is not my usual kind of read I found this book to be quite good. It is not a slasher type, but profoundly chilling and full of intrigue. It explores alternate worlds through our thoughts. There is the basic good vs. evil, and it is quite a ride. I think fans of this genre will not be disappointed. My only problem with this book was it's length...almost 900 pages. A very riveting tale though. I would venture to say, Steven Kings son may have outdone him on this one!
