Luca Ambrosino's Reviews > Batman: The Killing Joke
by
This reprint includes "Batman: the Killing Joke" and "Batman: The Man Who Laughs". Two stories that shed light on the hostile relationship and on the first meeting/clash between Batman and Joker. Not being an expert of the Batman world and more generally of the DC universe (with some exceptions, such as Watchmen), I decided to bridge the gap by recovering some of those that are commonly considered as cornerstones of this universe. Certainly the figure of the Joker is one of the more charismatic generated by DC comics, and the noir drawn of these two stories is the aspect I most appreciated in this reading. Alan Moore and Ed Brubaker are Writer with a capital letter, therefore the experience could only be positive. I'm pretty sure I will continue on this path, that is choosing graphic novels considered must-haves by DC fans, and taking in some culture!
